Classy Coordination!

March 30, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Putting your family in completely matching outfits for your family photo shoot is long since past!  Now we recommend that you coordinate! Pick colors or neutrals and just mix and match! But most importantly have fun with it!

Here are some wonderfully coordinated families I have worked with over the years. I love seeing what everyone comes up with!

1 week new baby Harper!

This girl could not be more adorable! What a wonderful head of thick dark hair! I was honored to visit this lovely family at their home and meet their new princess. I am so happy for them and wish them joy on their new parenthood adventure!

These are a few of my favorites from our session.

I wanted to feature some of my favorite shops!

Big Time Baby creates adorable handmade crochet hats and accessories for babies and children!

Here are a few of my recent treasuries featuring her pieces:

I also wanted to showcase an amazing shop that I have recently been working with: The Holistic Science Co.

You don't want to miss these incredible apothecary goodies from candles to mineral toothpaste! Her body lotions are richly scented and her candles are intoxicating! She's also on Etsy!

Isla the Flower Child

February 16, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

My girl has always been a bit of a flower child, so this bohemian styled session was perfect! My Isla is growing up so fast, and It makes me so happy to be able to capture these fleeting moments. I hope one day she will look back with fond memories of photo shoots with mom, laughing together, and the promises of treats(aka bribery). LOL.

I had all the stylings planned, but was still unsure about the location of the shoot until we were driving home from my best friend Nara's house(Isla's hair was styled by Nara). This was shot in San Diego off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. We came across a little trail winding up this hill. I loved the desert look of the location with sporadic wild flowers here and there.

This session features the adorable bohemian head wrap by Big Time Baby.  Her shop offers handmade crocheted accessories for babies and children.
